Shoes for Souls was founded by Lindsay Sobel in 2016. Since its founding, Shoes for Souls has donated more than 62,000 pairs of shoes to the homeless and those in need. Shoes for Souls has also worked with other nonprofit organizations including Soles 4 Souls and Hav a Sole. Shoes for Souls has donated shoes to various shelters throughout Southern California such as the Los Angeles Mission, Long Beach Mission, MEND, and other local organizations.
Led by Shoes for Souls Vice President Sarah Sobel and Ambassador Jordan Shtrum, Shoes for Souls volunteers sorted and donated more than 600 pairs of shoes to help those affected by the Eaton Fire.
